Mission: Welcome To The Caerleaon Sector Captain...
Location: Beach located a few miles away from starfleet hq

Shras sat in a lounge chair, padd in hand. He was using the shoe leave that he had been granted to engage in one of his favorite pastimes... reading. He rested a padd on his khaki shorts as he adjusted himself to see better. After that he finally activated the display. He whistled as he read. The first item was that of a story about the recent events.

"Huh, the rebuild of space dock is coming along." He commented. His eyes were glued to the screen. Reading this story Shras couldn't help but be entranced. After all, he witnessed the attack. His knee also reminded him of that day, but Shras ignored it as he continued to read. Continuing the article he saw that the Enterprise D was being added to the collection of the fleet museum.

"Outstanding! It needs to be there! Without it we'd all be dead now " he said. "If not for Picard and his crew " he added. "Wonder where they are now?" He asked himself. "In fact." He began. "I wonder what theyre going to do with the Mayweather? It was pretty rough there with the commanders being killed." He began. Just then he saw a story where there would be counseling for the people who were assimilated. Shras nodded. "I hate to borrow for Vulcans, but that's logical " he said. "Oh, and the ships are being maintained as well. That's good. Being the senior officer on the bridge during the attack I guess I'll be going back " he said. Just then his padd beeped, informing Shras of an incoming message.

He opened it, and it read as follows.

Lieutenant Commander Shras Th'Zarath. This message is to inform you of your promotion to the rank of Commander. Also to inform you that you are to report to the USS Avalon at your earliest convenience.

Shras closed the padd. He signed. "I was expecting to return to the Mayweather, but duty is duty." He said as he went to Don his uniform.
